For most qualifying Manitoba commercial and industrial facilities, yes. Your new LED lights are provided at no cost through funding from Efficiency Manitoba's Business Lighting Program. Installation is the responsibility of your facility, whether that is your own team or an outside electrician.
These programs have been created by government authorities across Canada and the United States to reduce electricity demand, which benefits everyone in the region. We act as the bridge between those programs and your business, connecting you to the funding so you do not have to chase it down yourself. The program covers the LED lights, installation labor remains the responsibility of your facility.
Here is the process from start to finish. Approval timelines can vary depending on the program and your region.
In almost all cases, no. The LED lights themselves are provided at no cost through the rebate program. The only exceptions are if a facility does not follow program rules, or if a facility requests a rare, custom fixture outside the standard program offering. If a charge would ever apply to your project, we tell you upfront before any work begins, there are never surprise costs. We also never require payment information to start working with you.
